Logon Studio is a very nice program for anyone wishing to make and or use logon screens. It is a very safe way for beginners to change them and make them on their own. However, it does not come without its short comings. I have made a logon that I use as a (template) for making all my screens which works very well for me. I exported it to a seperate folder and each time I customize it, I can go back to that folder, click on it and put it back into logon studio for the next theme change. Here's what I wish it would do; When you edit the theme ini. file on my (template) and make all the necessary changes, it keeps the same name (template) in logon studio until I export it to a different folder, rename it and click on it to get back into logon studio with the right name. The second issue I am hoping someone can help me out with. I don't use the top panel or the bottom panel because it squashes my picture. I've tried editing the top and bottom panels to match my picture and make my picture the size of the space that isn't used by the top and bottom panels.
For instance, If I am making a logon screen with a bmp.picture 1024x768 and the top panel is 1024x80 and the bottom panel is 1024x100, should I reduce the bmp.picture to 1024x588 ? This seems very logical in theory, but in practice I have not been successful. The only reason I care about this one particular issue is so I can have a shutdown button that I don't have by not using a bottom panel, or is there a trick to that ? Any help would be appreciated
